Sarah is Sky News' Head of International News, responsible for the channel's widely-acclaimed foreign news coverage.
Since joining Sky at the beginning of 2011, Sarah has managed the extraordinary series of foreign news stories that have happened this year: Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Bahrain exploding in tumultuous revolution; the shocking devastation caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan; the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords in Arizona; Brisbane disappearing underwater, the killing of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan and the ongoing crisis in Eurozone.
Prior to joining Sky News, Sarah worked for 16 years at the BBC where she had an eclectic career involving working in documentaries, drama and news. As BBC News' Deployments Editor, she managed assignments for TV, radio and online to all the major news stories, including the Haiti earthquake, the floods in Pakistan, the rescue of the Chilean miners and the Red Shirt demonstrations in Bangkok.
