Andrew leads all of Sky News' digital platforms - overseeing Sky News’ award-winning website Skynews.com, and mobile services, including the RTS award-winning iPhone app, now downloaded over two and a half million times, and named in Apple’s top ten free UK apps of all time. He is also responsible for Sky News for iPad - a ground-breaking app that allows users to fully immerse themselves in their chosen stories via live video, expert analysis and rich interactive graphics. The app built exclusively for iPad is supported by a dedicated editorial team. He is working alongside the channel’s editorial and technical teams as they develop the channel’s multi-platform offerings.
 
Andrew joined BSkyB as Editorial Director for Sky’s online portal in October 2006. During his time in the role, Andrew helped to grow unique users across the network by nearly 50 per cent, to over 10 million, to make it one of the most popular network of websites in the UK. Andrew brings to Sky News 28 years experience in journalism, including a ground-breaking stint as general manager of MSN.com in charge of editorial, planning and product development for the homepage.
