Sarah Worthington

Head of Output, Al Jazeera English, Doha, Qatar

I am currently the Head of Output for Al Jazeera English, based in Doha, Qatar. In this job, I am responsible for the global output of the channel. I have held this post since 2010.

Prior to that, I was an Executive Producer for Al Jazeera (2009 to 2010) and the senior journalist on the floor. A key member of the Al Jazeera English launch team, I joined the organization in 2006 and served as Programme Editor from that year until my promotion in 2008 to Executive Producer.

From 2000 to 2005, I was an Executive Producer with CNN in Atlanta, and I was an Executive Producer for KCBS/KCOP (1996 to 2000).
