Conference production planning

The News Xchange production team, led by Stoneapple Ltd of London, is making excellent progress this summer planning a highly interactive event for this year’s News Xchange.
At a recent meeting in Amsterdam, Stoneapple founders Pavani Watt and Steve Horne, met with Amy Selwyn, Managing Director, and Cornelis Jacobs, head of Cityzen Agency (responsible for News Xchange’s new website and social media strategy). Some of the key issues at this point are designing a room that allows for excellent sight lines, greater interactivity and sound and picture to support the increasingly diverse editorial line-up.
Here’s what you need to know about this year’s conference in terms of production: there will be more opportunities for delegate involvement, there will be more video and there will be a wider variety of formats and styles, ranging from panel discussions and debate to fireside chats and multimedia presentations.
