I studied industrial design at Central St. Martin’s in London before joining a large architectural lighting company specialising in industrial lighting ranging from major art exhibitions in the Royal Academy to shopping centres and ambassadors residence all over the world.

I then left industrial design for a year of travelling and working in Italy with industrial designers in Milan, and trying to achieve a long held desire to speak Italian, something I am still working on!

On my return to the UK, I joined a live event production company where I was responsible for the design of sets, exhibitions and environments for a wide range of corporate clients, designing events and exhibitions ranging from a jungle based party for The Cocoa Association through to tailor made and extraordinary theatrical experiences for a champagne house and their International clients at Gleneagles in Scotland.

In 1997, together with Francesca Gray, and Steve Horne we set up our own live event production company, Stoneapple Productions.

As Creative Director at Stoneapple, I’ve been working across live events, exhibition and video production designing and staging events for a client base that ranges from Pharmaceutical to fmcg and media companies. Despite over 20 years in the industry I still enjoy tackling the day-to-day challenges of the projects from inception through to completion, and the hands on experience of being on site.

My role at News Xchange is to be part of the team to design and facilitate all the staging and production of the meeting, making it a truly exciting and interesting event.
